COVID 19 Update

Mask required on entry as per Government directives and our practice ‘Condition Of Entry’.

Please note even with an exemption we are not obligated to see you so please avoid disappointment and book a Telehealth instead.

Your GP can let you know how to proceed. Thank you for your understanding.

It is our practice policy that we do not provide mask exemptions.

We have an obligation to do what is best for your health, and that of our community,

and we believe that masks are an essential tool in preventing the spread of Covid.

If you feel unable to wear a mask in an area where you cannot social distance, we advise you to rethink your need to be in that space.


Feeling unwell on the day of your appointment?

If you, or someone with you has the following symptoms you must not enter our practice:


Temperature, Sore or blocked ears, Sore throat, Sniffle, Cough A recent negative Covid test Gastro (Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea)

Even if you think it’s asthma or a possible allergy

If you had a face to face appointment please ring and change it to Telehealth and stay home.

If you need a physical examination you may be directed to attend a respiratory clinic which is set up to see possibly unwell people.

Bulk Billing


As a bulk billing practice, we offer bulk billing to all patients with a valid Medicare card for all Medicare eligible procedures.


This means no out of pocket costs for most general consultations.

Appointments and Waiting Times

  • You are required to present your Medicare card to receive Medicare benefits at each appointment
  • We sometimes run a little late and understand this can be frustrating for you, but it is also stressful for our staff and Doctors.  Please be aware that appointments are scheduled 10-15 minutes apart and emergencies are given priority.  Check with reception if we appear to be running late
  • Interpreters are available if required
  • Extended appointment times are available upon request
  • Please inform reception if your appointment pertains to minor surgery, medicals, Workcover, pap screening or test results


Walk in Appointments


Walk in appointments will be accommodated where possible.


Please be aware that patients who arrive without an appointment may experience a delay,

unless in the case of an emergency.




Doctors at this practice routinely handle common health problems.


When necessary, they may seek a Specialist opinion.

You can discuss this with your Doctor, including any potential out of pocket expenses.



 Results are reviewed by the Doctors and acted upon in a timely manner, with your health in mind.


We will contact you if necessary, but it is recommended that an appointment be made to discuss the results.


Home Visits


Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice living within a 5 km radius and whose condition prevents

them from attending the practice at the discretion of their Doctor.



Interpreter Service


An interpreter can be arranged prior to your appointment.


Please notify reception if you require an interpreter at your consultation.



To maintain confidentiality, we avoid telephone interruptions to Doctors.

The Nurse may be able to help you, or a message can be given to the Doctor and your call returned as soon as possible.

Urgent enquiries will be put through.


Please be aware that consultations will not be conducted over the telephone.


Recall and Reminder System


 As our practice is committed to preventive care, we may send you an occasional reminder regarding health services

appropriate to your care. This practice participates in the NST reminder system.

 If you wish to opt out of this please ask.


My Health record is a secure online summary of your health information.


Assisted Registration is available at this practice,  ask your doctor or receptionist at your next visit.


This practice can now upload a health summary from your records to your My Health Record.
